3 Day Introductory Course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language: Greatly reduced rates available
English Language Teaching will be offering a weekend (3 day) course from 26th to 28th May designed to provide very practical and constructive training to anyone interested in teaching English as a Foreign Language. The course will take you through how to approach teaching listening, speaking, reading and writing to non-native learners, classroom management, lesson planning and teaching young learners. You will also have the opportunity to put all this into practice and receive feedback by delivering a short ‘lesson’ on the final day of the course. No previous teaching experience is required and the course is open to all.
The full cost is £225. A greatly reduced rate of £50 for the full three days is available to those 2nd year modern languages students who have already applied to the British Council for language assistant posts abroad starting in September 2018.
There are still some places available on this course which is the last one we will be running this year, so if you are interested in joining us please go to our website at: https://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/elt/tefl/ where you will find an application form and further details.
