Scottish Funding Council Grants (x5) available to Scottish/EU (not RUK) for School of Art History MLitt Museum and Gallery Studies

Five Scottish Funding Council Grants of £7500 are available to Scottish/EU (not RUK) students for 2018/19 entry for full-time study of the MLitt Museum and Gallery Studies degree at the University of St Andrews. More information can be found on the website.

Through a combination of theory-based and practical instruction the one year postgraduate course teaches:

Knowledge of the museum and gallery sector: a combination of lecture-based and practical instruction
Curatorial practice: group exhibition project in professional venues
Workplace skills: individual placement project in diverse host organisations
Research skills: original piece of research in the form of a 15,000 word dissertation

Graduates consistently gain employment in museums and galleries in Scotland, the UK and internationally.

The scholarship will be awarded to students selected on both academic merit and financial need and will be used to cover tuition fees in the first instance. Please note that the award is intended for MLitt/MSc students, not PG Dip.
