Participants wanted – to complete an online survey: Understanding the determinants of the uptake of the MenACWY Vaccine in University Students

Are you in your first, second or third year of undergraduate study? Are you in a one year postgraduate taught course, or your first, second or third year of a postgraduate taught or postgraduate research programme? Were you aged under 25 when starting your degree?

If so, then you have the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw to win £40 worth of Amazon vouchers by completing a 10-15 minute online survey.

This study is being conducted as part of an MSc Health Psychology Thesis in the School of Medicine. We invite you to participate in the research project about uptake of the Meningitis vaccine (MenACWY).

It has been recommended that when students begin University, and are new to the University environment, they receive the MenACWY vaccine to protect against forms of meningitis and septicaemia. This research aims to find out how many students from the University of St. Andrews receive this vaccine when starting University and aims to explore the reasons behind vaccination uptake.
