CAPOD PhD Tutoring and Project Opportunities
CAPOD is looking for some enthusiastic PhD (Doctoral) students to join CAPOD’s team in a variety of roles.
- We are currently recruiting to our pool of academic skills tutors. We are recruiting tutors in Study Skills, Mathematics and Statistics. Tutors are paid hourly at the standard University tutoring rate. Working hours are variable, up to 6 hours a week. A full list of topics we cover is available on request, or on our website. - CAPOD is also looking for two Project Officers to help support the Student Development Team on a variety of projects. Project Officers are paid at the standard University research assistant/ tutoring rate. Working hours are variable, up to 6 hours a week.

- School Coordinators in the Academic Skills Project. This initiative aims to deliver subject specific academic skills workshops to undergraduate students; each participating school has a PhD student Coordinator with overall responsibility for the design and organisation of the programme. This is a great opportunity to acquire a new kind of teaching experience and we are currently looking for Coordinators in Art History; Computer Science; History; Maths/Stats; Modern Languages; Philosophy and Social Anthropology.
