A new staff initiative supported by Chaplaincy and the Equality and Diversity team.
The aim is to introduce a regular opportunity for University staff to engage in open-minded, non-dogmatic, non-proselytising discussion of philosophies of life, value, and that vague concept: ‘spirituality’. This is particularly – but not exclusively – aimed at individuals of non-Abrahamic faith groups or those of no specific faith. To join the mailing list for events please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The first event is taking place during national Inter Faith Week on Wednesday 14 November 2018 (12-2 pm, Byre Studio). Come along to either just listen or join in the discussion. The discussion topic for this first meeting is: Can anyone be without some beliefs about human nature and the meaning of human life? Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. For catering numbers, it would helpful if you can email email@example.com to register your attendance.
