Participants wanted: Medical students for an online survey about coping, stress and burnout

Project Title: How Do Medical Students Manage Stress and What Role Does Medical Educational Environment Play In Experience of Stress?

This study is being conducted as part of my, Wei Qian Ong, Vacation Research Scholarship in the School of Medicine.

We invite you to participate in a research project to investigate the impact of stress management, competitiveness and perceived medical education environment on a medical student’s stress and burnout.

You will be asked to complete an online questionnaire which we anticipate will take 15-20 minutes (90 tick box questions) to complete. The information you provide will be anonymous and held confidentially by the researcher and supervisors involved in this project. Before agreeing to participate in this research you will be given a Participant Information Sheet that will further detail my research before consenting to participate.

Students who participate in the survey will be will be given the opportunity to enter into a prize draw with 10 x £10 high street voucher, 2 x £25 high street voucher and 1 x £50 high street voucher.
