Transept 2024 Art Exhibition: ‘(a)void’

Transept, a group of artists and theologians connected with ITIA (the Institute for Theology, Imagination and the Arts) at the University of St Andrews is holding its annual multimedia art exhibition from 5-10 April at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church (Queens Terrace, St Andrews, KY16 9QF). All are welcome to attend the opening event, gallery hours, and special performances.

This year’s theme is an artistic exploration into the realm of absence. Through a wide array of mediums, artists investigate the depths of darkness, emptiness, and the unknown. This exhibition examines the ways in which we embrace or evade the voids in our lives.

Opening Event: Friday the 5th of April at 7:30pm

Gallery Hours: 6-10 April (Sat-Sun: 12-5pm, Mon-Wed: 12-3pm)

‘Stories from a void’ Playback Theatre performance: Sat the 6th of April at 5pm
‘Sound and Silence’ musical performance: Sun the 7th of April at 6pm
