Celebrating Maggie

Maggie Winton, who worked for years in Student Services, died on Sunday 8 July.  She was appreciated by thousands of students over the years for her kindness, wisdom, compassion and sense of humour.  Her funeral was held in July.

As so many students who knew Maggie could not come then, Student Services and the Chaplaincy have organised an event celebrating Maggie on Tuesday 25 September, at 5.15 pm, at Parliament Hall, South Street.  At this informal event, there will be a chance to come together to remember her unique style, and share the many ways she touched the lives of students and colleagues.

If you have a memory of Maggie you would like to be shared at the event, contact Ruth Unsworth at Student Services at  ru5@st-andrews.ac.uk or Donald MacEwan, the Chaplain at dgm21@st-andrews.ac.uk.  Or you could write it down and pop it into a box at Eden Court, The Scores.

For further details feel free to contact the Chaplaincy at chaplain@st-andrews.ac.uk.
