New photo gallery
A new photo gallery, featuring fresh, new official imagery of the University, is being launched this week at: www.st-andrews.ac.uk/photo-gallery
The gallery offers an easily accessible, searchable and downloadable collection of current photography in one place. It is free to use, not just for University staff and students, but external parties including the media, ensuring a consistent and up-to-date reflection of our ever-evolving community, culture and estate.
Many of the images, taken during the last two years, have never been published before and may be used across a range of purposes, from University websites, social media channels and digital displays to printed publications and PowerPoint presentations.
The new development, which has been created over the lockdown period by Gayle McIntyre (Corporate Communications) and Andrew Wilson (ITS), replaces the Imagebank website.
A work in progress, the gallery currently features almost 1,000 images across a range of subjects and will continually be expanded to keep the content as up-to-date as possible, with older images being archived to the University’s Special Collections photographic archive: https://collections.st-andrews.ac.uk/search
Feedback on the new gallery – or suggestions for future content – can be emailed to: email@example.com.
