Exploring the Relationship between Autobiographical Memory Retrieval and Social Problem-Solving in Autism Spectrum Disorders

This study is being conducted as part of my PhD thesis in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews.

We invite you to participate in a research project examining the retrieval of autobiographical memories as well as solving problems that involve everyday activities and social interactions. We are also looking into the influence of variables such as gender and mood on these interactions. Participation will be a single session and should take a maximum of 2 hours. This study will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams or Skype due to COVID-19.

We are looking at participants with a specific neurological profile in addition to participants who do not have this profile. Specifically, we are looking for participants with and without a formal diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. Participants should be between 18 and 65 years old and should also be native or fluent English speakers.

Participants will receive a £10 Amazon voucher for completing the study.

If you are interested, please get in contact using the details below. You will then be emailed a Participant Information Sheet with further information about my research, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions before being asked whether you consent to participate.
