Using the Main Library study space
The Main Library is open for all University students and staff to browse the collections and borrow using the self-service machines.
If you would like to sit down to read or study, you will need to pre-book a space using the booking system. Once you have booked a seat, please only sit at and use the seat number you have reserved. You can book up to 4 sessions of 3 hours per week (a total of up to 12 hours). Booking is open 5 days in advance. If you no longer need your space, please use the link in the confirmation email to cancel the booking.
Please remember that, unless an exemption applies, you must wear a face covering at all times when in the University Libraries, including when you are seated.
