Do NOT upgrade to Windows 11 until IT Services test our software
Microsoft has announced that Windows 11 became available on Tuesday 5th October.
As with all new operating system releases, Windows 11 will be fully tested across the University systems over the next few months to check compatibility. IT Services will be in touch once testing is complete and classroom PCs and staff devices can be upgraded to Windows 11.
If you own your own Windows laptop, don’t upgrade to Windows 11 until IT Services have confirmed that it is compatible with University software and services.
