Participants wanted to help co-design connection links from GP practices to physical activity
Project Title: EAGLE: Development of connection pathways from primary care to golf packages
We are undertaking an exciting research project within the School of Medicine at the University of St Andrews, in collaboration with The R&A, Scottish Golf, Fife Golf Trust, The European Tour and The Ladies European Tour. The project aims to design connection pathways from GP practices to free golf packages offered by hosting golf clubs. By co-designing the way people can be connected from GP practice to activity packages, the findings of this study will enable more people to benefit from the physical and mental health and wellbeing improvements that activities, such as golf, provides.
We are seeking members of the public (golfers and non-golfers), GP practice staff and golf club staff in the Fife area to take part in an online interactive co-design session to design connection pathways that work for all users. The session will be asking for participants views and ideas on designing one or more connection pathways – participants will receive a £30 Amazon voucher to thank them for taking part.
