Career planning: exploring careers beyond academia (11 November)
During this GRADskills workshop for research postgraduates from any discipline participants will be introduced to the career planning process and explore a range of potential career paths that exist for PhD graduates outside academia. Different career options outside academia will be presented and discussed, including roles in industry and other roles in Higher Education. Some of the pros and cons of some alternative career paths will be considered and participants will be given insight into how to research different career options outside academia.
