AdvanceHE’s National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) celebrates and recognises individuals who have made an outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession in higher education. Each subscribing UK university may nominate up to three individual members of staff (via an internal selection process) who can clearly demonstrate having an outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession.

Any staff who are considering applying are encouraged to attend the guidance webinars provided by AdvanceHE, as outlined below. The Proctor’s Office will select a maximum of three applicants from an internal application round to submit on behalf of the university. The deadline for submitting an application for internal review is 1st February 2022. The deadline for institutional submissions to AdvanceHE is 9th March 2022. If you have any questions about the award, please contact Dr Heather McKiggan-Fee, Head of Educational Development ([email protected]).
