Did you know you can return to University halls of residence?
We want to dispel the myth that there’s no chance of getting into halls after 1st year. It’s not uncommon for students to stay in residence for all 4 years of their undergraduate degree.
Benefits to living in halls
No hidden fees, no deposits, fees include contents insurance, gas, electricity, internet and meals if you are on a catered contract. No reference or guarantor required.
Halls have a great community and feel like home. The wardens are on hand and together with the hall committee, run events. Our residence staff are available for any queries during the day.
Going on a semester abroad?
We can offer a 1 semester contract in residence. For students currently on a year abroad we prioritise you, as you are unable to look for private sector accommodation.
Halls are secure with swipe card access into your residence with the majority of rooms now having key card access to bedrooms. Working late at the library (or the union)? The night bus runs 7 days per week between 10pm – and 2am free of charge.
Applying as a group?
Agnes Blackadder Hall, David Russell Apartments and Fife Park accept group applications. There is also the option to apply for university managed properties.
How to Apply?
Applications are open for 1 week only, from 12 noon on Monday 7 February 2022 and closes at midnight on Monday 14 February 2022.
Please make a note of these dates, as we really don’t want you to miss it and miss out.
Applications received after the closing date will not be processed until the UG entrant numbers are confirmed, this could be as late as August 2022.
