Research data underpinning theses: requirements and submission process (10 March)

This GRADskills workshop is particularly for research postgraduates nearing the end of their degree. The workshop will help you gain an understanding of the process for the submission of the research data/digital outputs underpinning your thesis. It will focus on the workflow highlighting when you should take actions. A demonstration of how to use Pure for the deposit of the data/outputs will also be provided. You will learn how to obtain a DOI for your data/outputs and how to add it to your thesis before final submission. The workshop will be delivered in the form of presentations and group discussions. Participants will be encouraged to contribute and ask questions. The workshop will help you understand the process for the submission of research data/digital outputs underpinning your thesis, deposit data in Pure at the right time, request an embargo on your data, add a data/outputs DOI to your thesis
