Anushrut Ramakrishnan Agrwaal
Wednesday 2 March 2022

This GRADskills workshop is for final year research postgraduates in particular. At this workshop you will find out the procedure you must follow to correctly deposit your electronic thesis and to comply with these compulsory regulations. In addition, you will find out more about how you should prepare for electronic submission with regard to your potential need for a time limited embargo which initially restricts access to the full text of your thesis and may also restrict access to the abstract of your thesis if required. It also covers preparation for electronic submission with regard to copyright issues and with regard to file formats and the organisation of your work for electronic storage and access. It will also keep you up to date on latest developments such as usage statistics for e-theses, how to deposit research data associated with your thesis, how to make your thesis more discoverable for other researchers and how to uniquely identify yourself as the author of your thesis.
