Participants wanted: study on the effects of physical pain on social interaction in adults (18+)
This study is being conducted as part of my, Molly Kitson, Honours Degree research study in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews.
If you are 18-years or older and reside in the UK we invite you to participate in an online research project. The study will involve a pre-test questionnaire to determine the intensity of physical pain you have experienced in the last week. You will then be asked to take part in an online computer game which requires you to virtually pass a ball in small groups. Following this you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire asking you to rate your experience playing the game. The total study is anticipated to last no more than 30-minutes. At the end you will be recompensed for your time and participation with a £3 Amazon voucher, and be entered into a prize draw for one of two £20 Amazon vouchers.
