This study is being conducted as part of Stephanie Mc Nally’s Honours Degree and Dr. Barbara Dritschel’s research programme in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience.

We invite you to participate in a research project examining what role an individual’s ability to appropriately solve social conflict scenarios, plays in the relationship between low mood, social skills, and personality traits.

Participants will be asked to complete seven paper and pencil questionnaires used to assess personality traits (specifically, tendencies towards low mood and styles of social interpretation/interaction) and social problem-solving techniques. Completion of these tasks should take approximately 60 minutes. The only requirements for participation are that you be an adult between the ages of 18 and 60 and are fluent in English.

As compensation for your time, participants will earn a £5.00 Amazon voucher.
This study is required to be carried out in person. Due to increased risk of transmission of COVID-19 as a result of in-person interactions, social distancing and PPE will be required, unless exempt.
If you are interested, please get in contact using the details below. You will then be given a Participant Information Sheet that further details our research and have the opportunity to ask questions, before being asked whether you consent to participate.
