This study is being conducted as part of my, Kalvin Roberts, research study in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews.

We are constantly making decisions because of the things we sense in our environment. In this experiment, we are looking at how people make decisions when more than one sense is combined (sight and sound). Our aim is to test multisensory decision making by altering how a series of images and sounds are presented to you (on a computer screen and through headphones). How quickly you respond to these stimuli will inform us about the psychological processes underlying multisensory decision making.

We will present you with images and sounds relating to animals and ask you to respond to simple questions related to these stimuli (e.g., “Press a button when you see a dog”). The experiment is conducted in one session which will last approximately two hours.

Your participation will be reimbursed with £10.

If you are interested, please get in contact using the details below. You will then be given a Participant Information Sheet that further details my research and have the opportunity to ask questions, before being asked whether you consent to participate.
