This training session (online) is open to all academic staff who use or would be interested in using podcasting for alternative assessments. The workshop will introduce the skills required for podcasting and the technical aspects of the technology that we offer here. Two guest speakers will share real-life examples about how they currently use podcasts.

Aims of the workshop:

  1. Learn what skills are needed to podcast
  2. Hear examples from Dr Victoria Turner (School of Modern Languages) and Dr Silvia Paracchini (School of Medicine)
  3. Consider how to create grade-related criteria and learning outcomes.
