Welcome Events for Taught Postgraduates (5th, 6th and 8th Sept)

Are you a new PGT student looking to meet fellow students and learn more about how the University can support you during your Masters degree? Book your place on the upcoming Taught Postgraduate Orientation events:

Monday 5th September

Postgraduate Taught Welcome Event, 13:00-14:00 or 14:15-15:15 or 15:30-16:30 (Parliament Hall, no booking required)

These informal welcome events are intended to allow new Taught Postgraduate (Masters) students the chance to meet each other. Students will hear from members of the University who provide help and support to taught postgraduates. Additionally, students will be invited to take part in a networking activity to allow them to meet other new Masters students. You only need to attend one timeslot.

Tuesday 6th September

Welcome event for taught postgraduates, 13:00-14:00 (online)

This online informal welcome event is intended to allow new Taught Postgraduate (Masters) students the chance to meet each other. Students will hear from members of the University who provide help and support to taught postgraduates.

Kickstart your Masters: PGT Orientation event, 15:00-16:00 (Parliament Hall, no booking required)

PGTs are invited to find out more about being a Masters student at St Andrews.  The session will cover some strategies for approaching the transition to Masters level study, including mindset and resilience.

Thursday 8th September

PGT Skills Forum, 14:00-15:00 (online)

In this interactive session participants will able to ask questions of recently finished PGT students and members of the Centre for Educational Enhancement and Development, who will share their experiences of learning at Masters’ level and tips about how to navigate through postgraduate study.
