Scotland’s Big Challenges Competition – deadline extended to 30th January

What are the main issues that face Scotland today and in the future? What can we do as a university to help?

All students – undergraduate and postgraduate – are invited to submit ideas through the ‘Scotland’s Big Challenges Competition’ to help us identify Scotland’s challenges and opportunities for change that can be brought through the University.

Challenges could range from those within St Andrews, or families, friends and communities, to the challenges Scotland faces as part of the global community.  You have a chance to win a prize, pitch your ideas in front of internal and external stakeholders, and collaborate towards innovative solutions! We invite your ideas in any creative format (from elevator pitch videos to documents). Team and interdisciplinary approaches are encouraged, but all ideas are welcome.

This is a wonderful opportunity to have your voice heard, make contacts at the University and beyond, and form networks to drive change and to build your confidence and entrepreneurial skills. We look forward to receiving your entries and joining us on the journey of Creating Impact through Enterprise Education (CItEE), supported by a Scotland’s Future Series grant and the University of St Andrews’ Eden Campus.

The competition closes this Monday, the 30th of January 2023 at 09:00 GMT. We welcome your submission at the link below!
