Participants wanted: Study on helping behaviour towards strangers
This research project is being conducted as part of my, Shiqi Zhang, undergraduate degree in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews.
In the survey, you will first read a hypothetical scenario of meeting two strangers at a hospital. Then, you will be given options to help each of them and provide a brief written explanation for your decision. Lastly, you will complete a short questionnaire regarding the strangers, as well as providing some basic demographic information.
To take part, you must be at least 18 years old and a current student at the University of St Andrews. The study will take no longer than 25 minutes, and you will have the chance to win one of six £10 Amazon vouchers.
