Main Library partial weekend closures
In order to facilitate the air conditioning testing which is an important stage in commissioning the Main Library’s new heating and ventilation system, we regret to inform you of two upcoming partial building closures.
Weekend of 25-27 February
Levels 3 and 4 of the Main Library will be closed from 8am Saturday 25 February to 8am Monday 27 February. Unfortunately this means that there will be no access to collections, although study space, enquiry and IT help services on Level 2 will be open as usual, as will our 24/7 digital library and our other library spaces.
Weekend of 4-6 March
Level 2 of the Main Library will be closed from 8am Saturday 4th March to 8am on Monday 6th March. Access to collections and study space on the upper floors will be available via the Fire Door at the side of the building, but the Library will close at 10pm on both evenings. Our 24/7 digital library and all other Library spaces are unaffected.
