Summer Accommodation Application 2023
We are pleased to inform students that accommodation is available for summer 2023 for those students whose circumstances require them to remain in St Andrews. Please note, we do not guarantee summer accommodation, priority will be given to care experienced students, estranged students, students with an academic reason for being in St Andrews eg internship or those who are unable to travel home due to restrictions in their home country.
If you are a PG student with a contract until August you do not need to apply.
Accommodation will be provided from Saturday 20 May, if you are currently living in University Accommodation (in most cases, you will stay in your current room until Wednesday 24 May), or Friday 26 May if you are currently in private accommodation.
Accommodation will be available until Saturday 2 September 2023 (you may be able to move into your term time room earlier), for those who have a contract for University Accommodation for 2023-24, or Monday 28 August 2023 if you are moving to private accommodation.
If you do not require accommodation for the full period, please let us know in the form below.
Accommodation is likely to be ensuite and self-catered and will be charged at £193 per week. We are unable to confirm where the summer accommodation will be located at this stage as this depends on a number of factors. We will confirm the location and if/when you have to move when an offer of accommodation is made.
The University understands that some students will find themselves in difficult circumstances. If you need to stay in University Accommodation and this leaves you in financial difficulty please email [email protected] for advice, support and possible access to discretionary funding.
