CEED PGR (PhD) Vacancies: Academic and Study Skills Tutors
Want to develop your teaching skills and support students to develop their skills for learning?
Vacancies exist for postgraduate research (PhD) students to join CEED’s tutor team as an Academic and Study Skills tutor. The role holder will be primarily responsible for meeting 1:1 with undergraduate and taught postgraduate students to help them with a variety of skills, although on occasion this may extend to meeting with postgraduate research students. Skills covered include essay research, planning and writing, note making, time management, lab reports, citing and referencing, revision technique, and reading for comprehension. The role holder may also be asked to contribute to academic skills workshops where required.
