Participants Wanted: Graduants
Study: Graduation through the Lens of ‘Ritual’
This study is being conducted as part of my Honours Degree in the Social Anthropology Department at the University of St Andrews. I am particularly looking to interview current graduants and their invited guests.
This dissertation will apply anthropological frameworks of ‘ritual’ to understand the role of the graduation ceremony in the transition from student to graduate.
As a participant in this study, you would take part in one or more semi-structured interviews (depending on how much you are willing to commit to) focussed on your experience of graduation and your preparation for it. These can be scheduled well in advance so please don’t worry about getting in contact well before your graduation date.
