Applications for the Aurora Women’s Leadership Programme 2023/24 now open
The call for applications for the Aurora programme 2023/24 cohort is now open (full information and Scotland cohort dates are available on the programme webpage).
The external women-only leadership programme is facilitated by Advance HE and was introduced to help address the under-representation of women in senior posts in HE. The programme is suitable for women from staff grades 6 to 8 (up to and including Deputy Director or Senior Lecturer level) who would like to develop and explore issues relating to leadership roles and responsibilities. It is designed to enable participants, who have not done any leadership development training, to ignite their leadership journey.
To apply, applicants (and their line manager) should complete the Aurora application form (available on the Aurora programme webpage) stating why they would like to join Aurora. The deadline for applications is 5pm on 31st August 2023.
An information session for prospective applicants is being held on Wednesday 23rd August, 11.00-11.30 am via MS Teams. Details and information on how to register your attendance can be found on the event page.
Prospective applicants are also encouraged to speak to previous attendees to find out more about the programme to ensure that this is the right programme for them and their aspirations.
