Lower Saxony-Scotland Joint Forum (online, 21-22 November)
The Lower Saxony-Scotland Joint Forum is a two day online conference for researchers interested in working with universities in the Lower Saxony region, which include the University of Göttingen, Technical University Braunschweig and Leibniz University of Hannover. It is free to book online.
Day 1 is dedicated to expert discussions, including on sustainable fashion, cross-regional collaboration and issues impacting Lower Saxony and Scotland.
Day 2 is open to participants of the Lower Saxony-Scotland Tandem Fellowship programme, who will discuss their projects. The Tandem Fellowship funds collaboration between researchers based in Scotland and researchers based in Lower Saxony. Two types of Fellowship are available: one for PhD students and one for researchers who have gained a PhD in the past 10 years.
