Participants wanted: Study on cross-modal perception of musical harmonies
We invite you to participate in a study investigating how humans perceive certain musical sounds used in classical music compositions. Non-musicians are also welcome! No musical skills are required at all. A compensation of £5 will be offered for participation.
Participants should have normal hearing. You will be asked to listen to several recordings of piano chords and to complete a survey (~45 minutes).
If you are interested, please send a short email to [email protected] (e.g. “I would like to participate”) and you will get all the information and a personal link to the survey.
This study is being conducted as part of my PhD Thesis at the School of Psychology and Neuroscience, University of St Andrews.
