The Europaeum is looking to appoint Teaching Fellows of postdoctoral standing (including junior faculty) to work with the Europaeum Scholars programme in 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in the links between academia and policy making, and in working with a policy and leadership programme for doctoral students from some of Europe’s leading universities. The position is open to anyone within 7 years of the receipt of the doctorate, with a strong association with a Europaeum member university in Humanities and Social Science subjects. St Andrews is a member of the Europaeum.

The successful applicants would work with Europaeum Scholars in modules in Oxford and/or Brussels. These are scheduled for 11-14 March 2024 (Oxford) and 24-27 June 2024 (Brussels). In Oxford the Teaching Fellows will be expected to attend talks and workshops related to leadership and policy and then discuss the key themes arising with the Scholars in small groups of 7 or 8. In Brussels, the Teaching Fellows will participate in visits to EU institutions and attend talks with the Scholars, before moderating group discussion of potential group projects.

Remuneration will be £400/day, and includes a small amount of preparatory work. Economy travel and accommodation are provided. The deadline for applications is 15 January 2024.
