British Council English Language Assistantships (1 Feb, 1300)
Deadline for applications to the British Council English Language Assistantship programme. Placements are available in Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada (Quebec), Chile, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Spain and Switzerland.
English Language Assistants help English language teachers in classrooms, and allow learners to discover more about UK culture. Teaching time is limited to between 12 and 20 hours a week, giving you plenty of time to experience the country and pursue other interests. Depending on the country, placements are available for six-months and/or a full academic year.
Applicants must have lived in the UK for 5 years within the last 10 years.
The deadline for application forms is 1 February at 1300.
