Grade 8 Pianists wanted: Study on the effects of attention on piano performance
We invite you to participate in a study investigating how attention affects piano performance under pressure. You will be asked to practice a short two-part Invention of your choice by J.S. Bach over the course of about a week and then perform the piece to a small audience. The score will be provided to you. The study will take no longer than an hour. A compensation of £10 will be offered for participation.
To participate, you must have:
- Advanced piano playing ability (level equivalent to Grade 8 or above)
