The Taiwan Education Experience Programme (TEEP) offers internships in universities, research institutes, business and schools. Internships are coordinated by universities. Stipends and accommodation are provided. The shortest internships last one month. Deadlines vary – please see the website.

Internship programmes are offered in varied sectors, including:

  • Agriculture & Fishery
  • Business & Management
  • Engineering
  • Natural Science
  • Culture & Humanity
  • Social Science
  • Medicine & Public Health
  • Others (niche projects)

Students receive a stipend (usually NTD$ 15,000/ £375pcm), and reasonably-priced accommodation is provided by each TEEP programme. For example, the Global Collaborative Learning and TEFL programme  (deadline 11 February)  accommodation is NTD$9,500/£240 per semester. Some summer programmes, such as the Youth Business Talents Initiative (deadline 30 April),  give students the chance to experience Taiwanese business sectors and potentially gain employment after graduation.

This is not a University of St Andrews opportunity. You will need to arrange your own travel insurance. Please contact [email protected] for funding ideas and advice.
