We invite those aged 18 and over who are living/studying in St Andrews (student, staff, or resident!) to participate in a research project about the relationship between obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and emotion recognition.

This 45 minute in-person experiment requires participants to observe emotional facial, vocal, and gestures and to select one of six emotions (happiness, sadness, anger, disgust, surprise or fear) after completing an OCD questionnaire. Participants do not have to be diagnosed with OCD or have any past history regarding mental health.

All of your data will be anonymous. This project has been approved by the School of Psychology and Neuroscience Ethics Committee (UTREC code: PS17407). If you are interested in taking part or have any questions please use the contacts below. A Participant Information Sheet will then be sent to you with more information.
