Are you a social media aficionado with a flair for content creation? Are you a student looking to enhance your CV and gain hands-on experience in the world of social media management to supplement your studies? Look no further – our charity partner Reusing IT, is searching for a passionate volunteer to join them as a volunteer Social Media Coordinator. 

The University of St Andrews and Reusing IT, a West Lothian based charity, have worked in partnership for over ten years to combat digital poverty. Reusing IT refurbish and repair thousands of PC’s, laptops, and other IT equipment, to supply low-income households and overseas organisations working in education, health, and agriculture. Reusing IT donations have reached Families First, a charity based in St Andrews as well as initiatives in the Ukraine and Zambia. As Social Media Coordinator volunteer, you will get to: 

Create captivating content to elevate the purpose and mission of the charity.  

Manage the social media posting schedule, ensuring messaging reaches the right audience at the right time.  

Engage with the online community, building meaningful connections and responding to interactions with authenticity.  

Dive into social media analytics to assess campaign performance and drive strategic improvements.
