Calling all educators to this interactive workshop on Tues 2 April, 11:30 – 13:30, The Large Rehearsal Room, The Students’ Association

Experiential learning can bring the classroom to life and empower our educators and students as co-creators of impactful curricula. We invite all educators (incl. Professional Services staff and PGRs) to this interactive workshop led by Sarah Stein Greenberg, Global Fellow (Education) 2024. Sarah Stein Greenberg is the executive director of the Stanford d.school and leads a community of designers, faculty, and other innovative thinkers who help people unlock their creative abilities and apply them to the world.

Inspired by Sarah’s book ‘Creative Acts for Curious People: How to Think, Create, and Lead in Unconventional Ways’, this afternoon session will delve into inspiration as well as practical ways of conceptualising learning and teaching that spark curiosity and engages with our Graduates Attributes.

Join us to bring experiential learning alive, share tips and techniques, and to celebrate our collective enthusiasm for creative and joyful classrooms. This session is supported by the University of St Andrews Global Fellowship Scheme. Sarah Stein Greenberg is being hosted as Global Fellow (Education) by Enterprise and Entrepreneurial Education, CEED and CELPiE.

Workshop aims and objectives:

– Exploring experiential learning through doing
– Practical tips for creating experiential learning environments
– Experience-sharing and networking with like-minded educators interested in experiential education

This session is aimed at all current and aspiring educators across Schools, Units and career stages.
