Thesis Writing Retreat – Applications Open!
Applications are now open for GRADskills’ annual intensive writing event.
The Thesis Writing Retreat is designed for doctoral students nearing completion and will take place in July 2024.
The event will run in person over the course of three days and is designed to support and motivate you in moving past writers’ block and procrastination to getting words down on the page. The ultimate aim of the retreat is to write a significant amount of first draft material.
- Applications are now open: Places are limited to ensure participants can develop a writing community and have ample access to support.
- Thesis Writing Retreat will run in person from Monday 8 July-Wednesday 10 July 2024, 9.15am-6.30pm. Applicants must be able to commit to attending for the full three days.
- The deadline for applications is Thursday 30 May 2024 – late applications will not be accepted.

Dissertation Writing Retreat for Masters Students – Applications Open!

The Dissertation Writing Retreat is designed for taught postgraduate (Masters) students nearing completion and will take place in July 2024.
The event will run in person over the course of two days and is designed to support and motivate you in moving past writers’ block and procrastination to getting words down on the page. The ultimate aim of the retreat is to write a significant amount of first draft material for your final Masters project/dissertation.
