Are you interested in how humans communicate non-verbally? How viewing others’ emotions can cause us to feel the same way? If so, we invite you to participate in a research study investigating the link between non-verbal behaviour and empathy!

The study will involve one in-person session located at the Malcolm Jeeves Psychology Laboratory, estimated to take no longer than 40 minutes. You will be asked to complete one questionnaire, the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI). Following completion, you will be shown various video, audio-visual, and text-based stimuli, each followed by 4 minutes in which you will be recorded using a webcam.

You will also have the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw with the opportunity to win one of five £10 vouchers. If you are interested, please email Gem Wright at [email protected] OR fill out the following recruitment form: https://standrews.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3DlPFJDN419w0iq
