Public Engagement Volunteering with STEM Next
STEM Next is a solo research project for all students aged 16 – 18 years across the globe. Students are tasked with independently researching and writing an essay on one of the available topics. In addition, as part of the essay criteria, students are required to interview at least one external industry professional or academic to gain some inside knowledge about their essay topic, which is one of their favourite parts of this competition.
We are recruiting volunteers who would be interested in being interviewed by students for their essay. These interviews are done online, so no need to travel anywhere! We are looking for industry professionals, academics, PhD students, Post Docs, who have knowledge in any of the following areas: Energy, Life Sciences, Medicine, Chemistry, Sociology, Psychology, Neuroscience, Space Science or Biological Sciences industries.
