Participants Wanted: Enhancing Visualisation of Uncertainty in Medical Data

This study is being conducted as part of an MSc dissertation project in the school of ComputerScience at the University of St Andrews.

We are seeking participants for a research study aimed at improving the communication of uncertainties in medical data, particularly focusing on the visualisation of the effectiveness and safety of vaccines. Your feedback will help us assess and refine how medical information is presented, making it more accessible and understandable for the public.

Participation Details:

  • What: Review a visualization related to the herpes zoster vaccine and complete a brief questionnaire.
  • Time: The questionnaire contains 15 questions and will take approximately 12 to 20 minutes to complete.
  • How: Participation is entirely voluntary, and you can withdraw at any time without any consequences.

Eligibility:

We are looking for a diverse range of individuals, including all staff and students within the University of St Andrews.

Since this visualization is designed for a webpage, please use a laptop or computer rather than a mobile phone.
