St Andrews Recognition Scheme (last chance to apply!)
The deadline to apply for a place on the semester 1 cohort of the Advance HE accredited St Andrews Recognition Scheme (STARS) Monday is 9 September at 9am. STARS provides participants with structured opportunities and support to reflect on their practice and prepare a claim for recognition against the Professional Standards Framework (PSF 2023) Descriptors D1 (Associate Fellow), D2 (Fellow), or D3 (Senior Fellow), as appropriate to their context.
The application link and guidance are available on the STARS webpage. We will process applications in the order in which they are received. Places on the scheme are limited, so please don’t be disappointed if you don’t get in the first time. There are two intakes on STARS each academic year – one at the start of semester 1, and another near the end of semester 2. Applicants who were unsuccessful in getting a place on their first attempt have priority if they apply a second time.
Note that the STARS cycle runs across two semesters; participants submit their applications in week 6 of the semester after the one in which they joined. To join the scheme you need to affirm that you will at St Andrews for the duration.
