University summer course scholarships in Germany (1 December)
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers German language summer course scholarships to undergraduate and Master’s degree students. Applications are open to students in all disciplines who have completed at least two academic years by summer 2025. Students should be able to prove that they have an A2 level of German language.
Over 100 German language courses are available at universities across Germany, including our partners Heidelberg, Tubingen and Humboldt University Berlin. Universities offer general language courses, and courses in specialist areas, including business, science, engineering, law, literature, medicine, tourism, academic writing and GSOL. Cultural activities, trips and sports complement the summer courses, and give you an opportunity to make friends. The Global Office blog gives an idea of the experience.
The scholarships of €1,192 are available, which cover almost all of the teaching and accommodation costs. Please let the Global Office know if you are successful in your application (email [email protected]).
