Participants Wanted for a Study on Brand Perception Surrounding Advertisement Disclosure on Social Media
You are invited to participate in a research project focusing on exploring how advertisement disclosure by influencers on TikTok affects brand perception. The research will take place at the University of St Andrews, and participants will be asked to partake in an interview that will last from 30-45 minutes. During the interview, you will be shown videos of advertisements that are disclosed and undisclosed and asked questions relating to it and the brand that it is advertising. Each interview ideally will take place in person to allow for in-depth discussions about your awareness of advertisement disclosure and your perceptions of the brands and influencers related to the videos. If you cannot do an in-person interview, a virtual one can be arranged.
