Bergen summer research school “Systems perspectives on sustainability and justice,” June 2025 (1 Feb)
Applications are open for the Bergen Summer Research School, which welcomes around 100 people to Bergen, Norway each year. The courses are designed for PhD students, and are also open to those enrolled in a post-doc programmes, those who have recently completed a PhD and those in their last stages of their master programme, with extensive working experience. The deadline for applications is 1 February. The summer school will run from 10-20 June 2024.
This year’s theme is “Systems perspectives on sustainability and justice.” The summer research school offers five parallel courses including:
- Health financing
- Accounting for sustainability
- Democratic practices
- Innovations in higher education
- Climate change and health
The summer school is free, and lunches are provided. Discounted accommodation and some stipends are also available. See the practical information page for further details.
