We invite you to participate in a simple detection task, where you will be asked to respond, by pressing a button, to signals in two different senses (vision and audition). By altering the ordering and synchrony of our audio and visual signals, we hope to gain greater insight into the underlying cognitive processes which are responsible for multisensory decision making and its behavioural benefits. This study is being conducted as part of our research in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews.

The experiment is conducted in one session which will last approximately two hours. Your participation will be reimbursed with £10.

If you are interested, please get in contact using the details below. You will then be given a Participant Information Sheet that further details the research, and can ask questions, before being asked whether you consent to participate.

To apply for this study, please register on The University of St Andrews SONA Website and go to: https://st-andrews.sona-systems.com/default.aspx?p_return_experiment_id=1309
