Early Career Research programme onboard R/V Skagerak to Greenland (14 May)
From 11-19 August, the ship R/V Skagerak will conduct a scientific research cruise, which is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the theory and practice of observations in the Arctic marine environment. 5 funded places are available. Return travel, food, accommodation onboard and medical screening are funded by the UK Science and Technology Network.
The training programme is aimed at postgraduates and early career postdocs without established marine research positions.
Applications are welcome from those with backgrounds outside marine science who wish to broaden their research experience. The deadline for applications is 14 May. Please contact the Global Office if selected.
