Films for Change: Reel Futures – Stories of Climate and Heritage
We are pleased to invite you to Films For Change: Reel Futures – Stories of Climate & Heritage, a student-led film screening event taking place on Monday, 26 May 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at School III, St Salvator’s Quad, United College.
This unique event showcases a compelling selection of original short films created by emerging student filmmakers. Each work explores the interconnected themes of climate change and cultural heritage, offering bold, personal, and thought-provoking interpretations of these urgent global challenges.
From documentaries to experimental narratives, these films reflect a fusion of academic insight and creative storytelling. They serve as powerful commentaries on identity, memory, place, and the planet—demonstrating the vital role young voices play in shaping a more sustainable and inclusive future.
The screening will be include a reception, where attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the filmmakers and discuss the issues raised.
